The festive season is well and truly upon us and everyone is looking for that special hairdo to take them from their office to casual drinks to the Christmas Party to a formal family lunch.
I enlisted my favourite hairstylist Mike Szerszen from Zeba Hair Salon in Dublin to show us some dos for all dos.
CURLY BLOWDRY: You can never go wrong with a curly blowdry, it is effortless, always in fashion and perfect for every occasion. If in doubt shake it out and leave it long and bouncy. A salon is the best place to get this do looking shiny and full of shape.

TEXTURED PLAIT; Plaits, plaits and more plaits, they are still big on every catwalk and at every celebrity event, a simple plait can finish a look off perfectly and it also shows off coloured hair beautifully, particularly balayage or dirty blonde tones. This look is easily achievable at home and gives your face definition.

MESSY LOW PONYTAIL: This is perfect for the party girl, you will need to curl your hair, brush it out and tie it in a low and sexy ponytail. This is effective and also very fashionable.

LONG BOB: Asymmetrical haircuts are back and will be huge in 2016 for any ladies wanting to lighten their load, give their hair shape and also for those of you wanting to make a big change. This isn’t for everyone and can take getting used to but is a very easy way of just ‘washing and going’ no matter what the occasion. Rub some serum or texture gel through the ends to give it body and kept it from looking too matronly.

MESSY TEXTURED UP DO: A textured up do is perfect for any woman. It strikes the right balance between classic and messy with a nice amount of height and structure. You will need pins, hairspray and some patience. But remember perfectly coiffed is not the look you are going for here. Too tight and you will look like a bridesmaid.

SLEEK: This look is simple to do, with the use of the right products this strong look could be perfect for lunch with your ladies or a night out. Easy on the product here or you may look more sweaty than sexy.
