On Friday I attended my friend Anne O’Donnell’s wedding in Mayo, I worked with Anne in AA Roadwatch years ago, my sister and I travelled to Westport for the German/Irish wedding. The ceremony was held in Ballintubber Abbey which is truly spectacular and the reception was held at Knockranny House Hotel, it is a wonderful hotel with plenty of character. The night we arrived my sister and I ate in An Port Mor, the Lobster Linguini was sensational. Lots of craic was had.
